Frequently Asked Questions

About Oceania Fresh Kosher Cruises

Yes. On the currently listed Oceania Fresh Kosher sailings, freshly prepared Glatt Kosher breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in every displayed cabin fare.

Yes. Every Oceania sailing published for booking has a confirmed Fresh Kosher program. Participation in the Fresh Kosher group is limited to 24 guests.

No. Because Oceania groups are intentionally small, Fresh Kosher Cruises cannot guarantee that a quorum will be present. Guests may coordinate prayers when a quorum is available, but daily or Shabbat services, Torah reading, a dedicated prayer room, and Rabbi-led services are not guaranteed. Kashrut supervision is provided independently of prayer arrangements.

Fresh Kosher meals are served in The Grand Dining Room. This is Oceania's main restaurant, with the kosher menu prepared and supervised separately for program guests.

Oceania uses open-seating dining with freshly prepared breakfasts and lunches and elegant multi-course waiter-service dinners. Exact meal hours are provided onboard.

The current Oceania program is under the full-time supervision of Rabbi Aharon Chein and Strictly Kosher Organization (SKO), with mashgiach supervision throughout the voyage.

The Fresh Kosher program is served in The Grand Dining Room. Do not assume that food in other restaurants is covered by the program; ask the onboard supervision team before eating elsewhere.

No. These Oceania Fresh Kosher group sailings are exclusively for guests age 18 and older. Guests under 18 are not permitted to book or sail with the group.

Some Oceania itineraries depart on Friday. Embarkation windows and Shabbat arrangements are sailing-specific, so contact us before booking travel and follow the instructions issued for that departure.

Yes. You may bring up to six bottles of wine per stateroom at embarkation or pick up a bottle in port. There is no charge to enjoy your wine in your stateroom; a $25 corkage fee applies only to bottles opened in restaurants or lounges. Oceania also offers kosher wines for purchase by the bottle with no corkage fee, subject to availability.
